"While I primarily identify myself as a painter my work has grown to encompass mixed media works and site specific installation. Abstract and minimalist imagery are used in conjunction with religious symbolism to create work addressing themes related to the universal human experiences of life and death. Visually breaking down the imagery to the few, most powerful, elements is of great interest to me. I have recently focused on creating an art experience for my viewers as opposed to an art object; but also creating art objects from the ephemeral elements taken from my installation."
